The tour begins in Dublin on Wednesday, April 9,
with a two-night stay at the five-star K Club. Here you
will enjoy a round of golf at the Smurfit course, venue
for the recent European Open, and The Palmer course,
stage for the 2006 Ryder Cup competition.
On the morning of Friday, April 11, you will be
flown to Kentucky, for five nights at the luxurious
Marriott Griffin Gate. Here you will play at the
Rees-Jones designed Griffin Gate course, then Persimmon
Ridge, considered to be the second most difficult in
Kentucky. |
On
Tuesday, April 15, comes the highlight of the holiday:
the privileged opportunity to play Valhalla Golf Club, venue for
September’s Ryder Cup, as official guests of the Club’s
members.
Valhalla remains the No.1-ranked course in Kentucky and one of
“America’s 100 greatest courses” according to Golf Digest. It
was also host to the PGA Championship in 1996 and 2000 and the
Senior PGA Championship in 2004.
Your return flight to Dublin or a scheduled UK airport departs
on the evening of Wednesday, April 16.
